The Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution offered at Bower Place provides students with a unique opportunity to develop family dispute resolution skills in the context of a working clinic. Forty, three hour, weekly sessions are held in the Bower Place Complex Needs Clinic where students take the roles of observer, co-mediator and where appropriate, mediate for clients who attend the clinic. Material observed within the clinic is then identified by students and supervisor and students directed to relevant theoretical material. Assessments are designed to flow naturally from this material and the students in room clinical experience.
